Hi all:

Free, 1 hour tours of the Turlock Community Gardens (TCG) this academic year for all CSUS students, faculty, staff, and alumns. Winter and spring dates and times have been posted to the TCG website. More dates will be added soon. Consider bringing your class out to the comm garden so they can learn about community gardens, organic gardening, composting, drip irrigation, and sustainable urban agriculture. Registration is required here: https://www.turlockcommunitygardens.org/csustours

There are a few plots available for rent (10x20'). If interested, let me know. The community garden is at 4105 Crowell Ave (behind the church), 2 blocks north of campus. TCG is a local nonprofit set up to establish community gardens in Turlock. https://www.turlockcommunitygardens.org/
